the 'lego' font idea evolved during the 'transport' project at the schule fuer gestaltung lucerne in spring 1999, and was first used as a headline typeface for an exhibition poster ('playstations') at the same institution. it was then further developed for the lineto release, first in the shape of twin sister postscript fonts, but also as a small cut'n'paste design application, which allows users to build letters, images or even whole environments using a library of preset 'lego' elements. choose your weapons: up to you if you want to consume or produce...
